Monday Morning Coffee
A number of our club members meet every Monday morning for coffee at Gourmet Girl in Salisbury Avenue, Laburnum.
This a weekly event in which a dozen or more members participate all year round. Good coffee and good food as well as good company. Meet at 10.30 am.

GOURMET GIRL - Chris Summers
16 March, despite very cool, overcast skies and eventually some drizzle, 18 members arrived throughout the morning to join in the great coffee. We just kept on extending the row of tables. One hungry man thought he needed sustenance and had well loaded fruit loaf.
Thank you everyone for making it one of our biggest mornings.

GOURMET GIRL – Chris Summers
9 February saw 17 members again join up for morning coffee. The morning was a littler cool for some but we all sat outside under the trees. Come along and join us as we solve the world’s problems.
Great coffee, muffins, fruit toast and iced coffee wityh far too much cream on top.
January 2026
A small group of 9 arrived for morning coffee on a beautiful sunny morning. Goumet Girl was crowded, so glad we have a booked table or three.
Wendy arrived with her two Aussie flags suitably attached above her ears.

December 29, 2025 - Morning Coffee - at The Food Republic
On a magnificent sunny Monday morning with an expected top temperature of 33’c, 18 members rolled up to the new temporary venue in Blackburn Road – The Food Republic.
My booked table of 10 was soon exceeded but we all managed to find a table although in two groups. Thank you to The Food Republic for looking after us so well.
Monday 5 January and 12 January are also at The Food Republic while Gourmet Girl is closed. Then back to normal. Photos: Glenn Ewing
