SPECIAL EVENTS - 2026
The Victoria Park Probus Club (Inc.) presents a few special events each year. Part of the cost of attendance for members is sometimes subsidised by the Club from funds raised by entry fees of General Meetings. Sometimes members cater for their own needs and just enjoy catching up with friends.

The Probus Club of Victoria Park delivers outings, speakers and events throughout the year to its members and visitors.
The Club makes a special effort during October Probus Month. This year on the 50th Anniversary of Probus in Australia, the Victoria Park Club is planning the following activities:
- The West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) String Quartet will play at the Club’s general meeting on 21st October 2026. Members and guests are invited.
- At sunset on the 21st October, members and friends are invited to a Sundowner at the Matagarup Bridge. The Victoria Park Probus Club has arranged for the Bridge to light-up in Probus colours (yellow and blue) at sunset. The Bridge is in the Club’s locale and other nearby Club members are invited to join the celebration. Members and friends will be encouraged to walk part or all the way across the Bridge. The steps will be included in the PAWA online Virtual Walk between Albany and Geraldton. Members are welcome to meet at 6pm for a self funded meal at The Camfield or just come along and enjoy the company and spectacle.
- On the 27th October members will attend a special 3 course lunch at the Tafe Training College, The Pines.

November is Probus Victoria Park's 44th Birthday celebration.
In keeping with the 50th Anniversary theme, members and guests will be invited to “Look Back 50 years ago” to share stories of what they were doing then. A context of events will be provided.
