Pyrmont Bay Wharf | |
| Travel suggestions: Catch the Metro from Castle Hill (no later than 9 am), catch the light rail (L1) from the regional train area of Central station. Get off at Pyrmont Bay stop and walk down to the wharf. It's the only wharf there. It's just before you get to the Maritime Museum. Please be there by 10.30am. The boat will arrive at 10.45am. We will have a 2 course meal (hot and cold buffet and dessert). tea/coffee will be provided for the duration of the cruise. | |||

For $55 pp, we will enjoy a delicious meal and dessert (alternate drop) with a drink on arrival. Join us on the Nepean Belle for Scones with jam, sandwiches and tea/coffee provided. Arrive at 10.20am as we will board at 10.45am, with the Nepean Belle leaving at 11am and returning at 1pm. The Nepean Belle will leave from 78 Tench Ave, Jamisontown Traveling West, take the MULGOA ROAD exit from the M4, turn LEFT onto Mulgoa Roa Turn RIGHT at the next lights (Spencer Street) You’ll see Jim Aitken Real Estate on your right Turn RIGHT into Gibbes Street Turn LEFT onto Factory Road Follow Factory Road all the way down and turn right into Bellevue Road Keep driving under the M4 Motorway where the road changes name to Tench Avenue.

We have a full day bus trip tp Mortels in Maitland. We will be hiring a minibus, so the maximum number attending is 24. Be quick, if you want to attend, or text Angela M. The price includes transport, a tour of the factory and lunch. Manufacturing and retailing sheepskin products since 1958, Mortels are Australian owned. Their UGG boots and other sheepskin products are made from Australia's finest sheepskins, proudly made by Australian people for Australian people, and for people that love all things Australian. We will leave from Balcombe Heights Community Centre at 7.45am and dropped back there later in the day. There is plenty of parking. |

September: Heritage Tour of Sydney GPO: Cost $ |

Come explore the building which was regarded as a building which would come to symbolise Sydney in the same way the Houses of Parliament in Westminster represent London and the Eiffel Tower, Paris. The Sydney General Post Office (GPO) was constructed in two stages, beginning in 1866 and designed under the guidance of colonial architect James Barnet. On September 1, 1874, the first stage of the GPO was opened, and Sydney was mesmerised by the first major building development in Sydney. In 1891, the clock tower was finally completed and the bells rang out across Sydney for the first time.
