Hi Annie,
Hello to all of our Raumati Probus friends and a belated "Happy Easter" to everyone.
It was great to hear from you and receive your latest newsletter. It has been posted on our website for members to read and enjoy. I also mentioned some highlights to our members at the last General Meeting.
Our members enjoy hearing about your activities.
The weather is typical spring here in southern Ontario. The snow has melted but the days remain fairly cool- not bathing suit weather yet!!! The trees are still bare and no daffodils or tulips in sight- next month.
Our Past President, Joe DeSimone, sent me some pics for you to share. I will try to elaborate for each one so it is more meaningful.
1. Shirlie Van Putten Social Convenor/Travel Annual Probus Barbecue August
2. Toronto Jays Baseball Game
3. Monthly General Meeting- usually 200 or so attend out of 497 members.
4. Golf Group- every Thursday in good weather.
5. Annual Christmas luncheon
We have lots of other activities to enjoy such as bowling, line dancing, darts, Euchre, pinball machines, men's breakfast, RODEO- Retired Old Dames Eating Out! Travel, theatre, dances, murder mystery nights, book clubs, guest speakers and the list goes on.
Stay well and give our best to everyone. Glad Heather has happily relocated.
