EXCURSION TO VICTORIA POLICE MUSEUM - Thursday, 21st May, 2026:

It was “all aboard” for a free trip on the Vline, heading to the city for a visit to the Victorian Police Museum.  The new state-of-the-art exhibition, which is free to the public,  houses relics and artifacts from over 150 years of crime and policing in the State of Victoria.

Displays included forensic evidence that convicted Julian Knight of the Hoddle Street massacre, wreckage from the Russell Street bombing plus various hands-on exhibits to test your knowledge of morse code, finger-printing and crime solving.

A nearby pub provided a chance to refuel and socialise and the Spencer Street Outlet delighted the ladies with a spot of retail therapy.

Thank you to John and Caro Chessum for seeking out such an interesting outing and for going to great lengths to ensure our safety and enjoyment.

PICNIC IN THE PARK - Tuesday, 20th January, 2026

A large number of our members were in "high spirits" at our annual picnic under the leafy green oak trees in Rotary Park.  A very pleasant few hours were whiled away catching up with the news, smelling the snags on the bbq and showing our style at "toss the bean bag".

Thank you to John and Carolyn chessum for organising the event.

Christmas Breakup at Fornums in Sassafrass - 16th December.

It was a time to wish each other a Merry Christmas and give thanks for a year of fun, friendship and fellowship. And what a jolly old time was had by all.   A huge thank you to President Pamela and her very capable committee for endeavouring, at all times, to provide interest and benefit to the members.

Special mention of our Outings coordinators, John and Carolyn Chessum who have gone "all out" for our pleasure.
