        Activities & Guest Speakers for 2026

Planned activities to help achieve the goals of fun, friendship in retirement are an important part of the Probus Club of Newmarket. An Activities Officer co-ordinates club members’ activities usually held on the fourth Wednesday of the month.  While being flexible, a draft program is prepared for each year.There are also special interest groups who organise their own activities.  Currently there is a walking group, a book club and a monthly mystery outing.

• Guest Speaker  Wednesday 10th - "Broken to Brilliant", a talk on domestic violence by Andrea Miller who is the Director of Broken to Brilliant

• Wednesday 24th : Bus Trip to Toowoomba for the Carnival of Flowers - Morning tea at Marburg &  lunch Blue Mountains Hotel Harlaxton, with some beautiful gardens in between.
