About US
Probus Lindfield Combined Club
Our Probus Lindfield Combined Club was founded on 16th October 2019 with 23 foundation members, and we’re proud to have grown to 59 members today.
Our very first outing was a festive Christmas lunch at Bella Vista Restaurant in December 2019 — and we haven’t stopped since! Over the years, we’ve enjoyed a wide variety of outings, walks, dinners, activities, and guest speaker events.
Some of our memorable experiences include visits to
- Quarantine Station at North Head, Manly,
- the Chau Chak Museum at the University of Sydney, and
- NSW Government House.
- We’ve cruised with the Riverboat Postman Ferry in Brooklyn,
- wandered the foreshore at Freshwater with lunch at Harbord Diggers, and
- taken part in many monthly coffee catch-ups at the Runaway Spoon Café, Lindfield, as well as movie outings followed by lunch or dinner.

Other highlights include
- the Archibald Exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW,
- picnics and sausage sizzles at Lane Cove River Park,
- the Parramatta Heritage Tour,
- mini golf,
- walks around Narrabeen Lagoon,
- barefoot bowls,
- tours of the Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts,
- the Anzac Memorial at Hyde Park, and
- a fascinating visit to Cochlear’s manufacturing facility.

We’ve also enjoyed countless restaurant dinners, train trips to historic sites, concerts, strolls through Lisgar Gardens followed by lunch at Hornsby RSL, and even a Harbour Bridge walk finishing with lunch at The Rocks — not to mention a visit to the Sydney Fish Markets by train and light rail.
With each event, our club continues to grow in friendship, fun, and shared experience.
