We organise many activities for our members to attend.

How to Book for Trips, Theatre visits, Holidays etc

Our bookings for outings and activities are done by trybooking.  It is simple and members can tap on the link in the Club newsletter, choose the event, and pay with a credit card.

Any member not confident with online technology, can book at a meeting with the help of a committee member, or phone a committee member for assistance.  

Trybooking are based in Melbourne and provide a fantastic service just for this purpose.  You will be able to "put your name down" via your smart phone, tablet or computer at any time.  For those who don't have access to these devices or are unsure of the processs, we will have helpers available at each meeting.

Payments

Payments for activities may be required in advance, whilst others can be made at the time of the activity.  Advice about payments is available on the sign on sheet.  Payment is made by debit or credit card at the time you book on Trybooking. When you have booked you will receive a confirmation email and receipt if payment is made.  Refunds are only available if the venue provides a refund. 

Travel to Activities

Travel arrangements are advised in the Newsletter and on Trybooking. This can be by public transport, car pooling or provision of a bus.  When a bus is provided, the meeting point is the St George Motor Boat Club. If we are departing from the club, please park in the street and not in the club's car park.
