We have a range of interesting speakers at each meeting.  For example in  September 2025 a small team from the Senior Liaison Unit ACT Policing spoke to our Members and provided a variety of information brochures of interest.  Our November speaker was Dr Sue Packer OA, Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Paediatricians and Physicians. 

In 2026 our speaker in April was ADMR Ian Murray RAN and Mrs Katie Murray who had recently returned from a posting to Washington DC.  They both spoke about their shared and individual experiences and insights as a couple working in Washington DC.  

In May Ms Linda Peek told us about her mother's experiences during a childhood lived on Malta during World War 11.  Linda is a Canberra based author and has written a book about this time in her mother's life.  

In June our Treasurer, David Luck OAM, spoke about his journey with polio and his services to people with a disability.
