Main Speaker: Martin Fisher.

The Treaty of Waitangi has been a hot topic for debate for many years. In his first talk to us, Martin Fisher, senior lecturer at the University of Canterbury, spoke about the Treaty. Next week, Martin will speak about the Ngai Tahu Claim/Te Kereme, the landmark claim lodged with the Waitangi Tribunal by Ngai Tahu in 1986 over the Crown's repeated breaches of the Treaty.
