Adventures - Risk
Adventure activity participants are expected to be physically capable for the activity being undertaken. Participants should always come prepared with suitable clothing, sun protection, water, food and safety equipment (pfd, helmet, etc. as required by law or regulation or commonsense, as applicable).
The adventure activities are social, non-commercial activities, mostly organised by fellow members without relevant qualifications or accreditations.
Participation is at own risk. Participants need to take care of their own condition and be also mindful of other members, other community persons, the property of others (private and state) and the environment.
Probus Club of Cronulla Inc accepts no responsibility to participants beyond what would be considered reasonable by any reasonable person having regard to the nature of our club and all matters surrounding each activity.
Participants may have recourse in certain circumstances to their own government or private health or motor vehicle insurances, the insurance of commercial (external) activity venues, the insurance of third persons who might be involved, or the personal injury insurance cover arranged by Probus South Pacific for all members of Probus clubs in Australia.
