AUGUST 2026 MONTHLY MEETING

COOLANGATTA TWEED HEADS PROBUS CLUB INC.

One of our popular and regular Guest Speakers, Rod Preston, came to our August General Meeting recently. We keep asking him back each year. His PowerPoint presentation is so well prepared and entertaining, and Rod always adds some humour to his talk.

Rod's presentation was titled:

Rod Preston, Post Office Stories: Theme ‘It Started with a Kiss’ by Hot Chocolate.

Rod did not disappoint with his presentation. One was intrigued on how a kiss had anything to do with the mail, as the cryptic and twisted story was going in different directions. By the end it was all falling into place.Rod will return next year with his new presentation.

Photo: Our Guest Speaker Officer, Annette Short thanking Rod for his wonderful and entertaining presentation and everyone will be looking forward to his return next year.
