AGM and Elections 

The AGM will be held in March at 11am following our general meeting.

Venue: Cherrybrook Community and Cultural Centre.

Nominations for all Office Bearer positions will open in January and can be placed in the appropriate box at our January or February General Meetings or mailed to the Secretary (details on bottom of Nomination Form). Nominations will close at 11am on 1st February each year.

(n.b. A separate Nomination Form is required for each nomination)

Elections

Nominations for positions on the Management Committee close at the end of the fellowship break at the February General meeting.

Nominations are called for the following positions:

 

PRESIDENT

 

SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT

 

JUNIOR VICE-PRESIDENT

 

SECRETARY

 

TREASURER

 

MEMBERSHIP OFFICER

 

EVENTS COORDINATOR

 

INTER-CLUB ACTIVITIES OFFICER

 

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

 

 

If there is only one candidate for a position that candidate is deemed elected and acknowledged by acclamation (applause).

The formal part of the election, scheduled for the AGM in March, will still proceed although there is no actual voting.

Positions with no nominations are declared vacant. Nominations will then be called from the floor of the meeting for those vacant positions and those vacant positions only.

If no nominations are received for the vacant positions, the incoming Management Committee may appoint members to the vacant positions as they see fit.

These appointees will serve until the next election.
