President’s  Welcome Report

The monthly lunches continue to be well attended, and the co ee mornings are also well supported. The mystery bus trips remain very popular and are booked out as soon as they are announced. There is always a cancellation list recorded in case of unforeseen vacancies.

The garden walks have a nucleus of regular walkers. Although only a few members attend the walks others join for drinks and social interaction after the saunterers have completed their short journey exploring the least populated area of Mount Annan gardens. All are welcome

Shirley is currently seeking expressions of interest for a three-day bus trip to Young in December. Members who may be interested are encouraged to let Shirley know as soon as possible. However, a plan “B” perhaps an alternative in about April or May in 2027 in cooler weather.

Activities and fellowship are the specific objectives of PROBUS, suggestions for inclusions of amusement are most welcome and may be placed in Beryl’s suggestion box located near the door at each meeting or email to Peter Duggan.
