Beecroft West was established over thirty years ago to provide a club where both men and women could join. Beecroft had a Men's and a Ladie's Probus Club. The club was founded by Alan Dawson from Beecroft Rotary Club. It met originally at the Roselea Community Centre, hence the name Beecroft West. It then held meetings at the Beecroft Bowling Club and more recently moved to the Cheltenham Recreation Club.

Some reflections on our activities and achievements during Probus month of October '25. We marked this special month for Probus by adopting the new Constitution recommended by Probus South Pacific by an overwhelming vote to change the constitution at our general meeting on 2 October.Thank you to all members who voted either in personor by proxy at that meeting. I am pleased to inform you that since the resolution was passed, I have taken the necessary steps to have our new Constitution registered with NSW Fair Trading. Our new constitution took effect on 21 October 2025. From my enquiries we are well ahead of the pack in adopting the new Constitution. We now move on.
